Creating a Hollywood level hybrid movie trailer and promotion with Current Bank in association with the Fast 9 movie.
We developed a high-speed and action-oriented promotional trailer to communicate the value proposition of “Fast” for a Fintech platform set to shake up the market.
Current Bank was founded with the belief that banking should be accessible and affordable for all, by bringing premium financial services to everyone with a variety of modern lifestyles to help improve their financial outcomes.
The Current Core, their custom-built banking technology, makes this possible by providing greater stability, faster money and cost efficiencies that we pass on to our community of members.
Working with lead agency, Vivaldi, we realized that unlike banks…Current knows fast… and since it’s been four years since the last Fast & Furious film, we wanted to give fans a real taste of what they’ve been missing to build the anticipation for F9.
With the mantra “Current feels fast. Fast9 is fast” we set out to demonstrate what fast feels like by drawing direct comparisons between Current’s product and the F9 franchise. To do this we used quick cut video associations between product and motion picture mixed with the movie trailer’s titling to demonstrate how both Current and F9 are high-speed and action-oriented.

Working with Vivaldi, we developed a unique campaign integration between Fast9 and Current Bank with a blended narrative, a sleek design, and animated experience driven around speed. Fast 9 marked a major box office rebound after the pandemic, building mass awareness—helping Current Bank to define what it means to Bank Fast.
