We developed and produced the debut Advertising Week series ‘More than a Celebrity’ that showcases stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Emma Stone on ReachTV’s 2500+ airport screens across the country

In 2021 ReachTV formed an exclusive strategic partnership with Advertising Week to develop original content focused on the B2B market. The partnership started with the short format original series “More than a Celebrity” developed by GoPoint’s Douglas Rowell exclusively for ReachTV’s vast distribution network of owned-and-operated screens in airports throughout North America.

The collaboration included platform extensions onto the stages of the global event and its online presence, allowing a mutually beneficial partnership in which Advertising Week gains access to ReachTV’s more than 2,500-owned screens throughout airports and supplemented with over 1 million hotel rooms that will have dedicated Advertising Week programming and ReachTV’s vast sales engine to tap into blue chip brands that operate within the exclusive airport network.

Each episode of “More than a Celebrity” showcases an entrepreneurial minded or cause focused celebrity from Advertising Week’s global stage, bringing the best and brightest of both the business and social impact side of Advertising, including technology, creators, and media. Every episode will highlight where the industry is trending, and who is making the biggest splash in the markets, shown through a hosted multi-segmented format mixing commentary with capsule segments of industry icons and celebrities covering the gamut of Advertising, Branding and Media in the moment. From the Super Bowl to Black Friday and every cultural moment in between.  

In this series, Advertising Week’s global stages play host to some of the world’s leading tastemakers and celebrities across multiple disciplines, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Emma Stone, Apolo Ohno, Kevin Smith, Wyclef Jean, Kathryn Morris, Jane Levy, Ava DuVernay, Pitbull, Bethany Frankel, and Tony Hawk among many others.

GoPoint’s role was the scripting, editing and post production of the series first 15 episodes from concept to completion and delivery. The successful partnership continues with another order of 15 more episodes.
